Nothing else is going on sensation-wise. No cooling, no heating, no tingle beyond the ordinary nicotine tingle that arrives five to ten minutes in and then settles. Purple Grape belongs to VELO's fruit family rather than the ice or Sensations lines, so what you taste is the flavour and nothing layered over it.

Duration is where the sources disagree, and it is worth being straight about that. VELO publishes up to 30 minutes on its own site. UK retailers routinely say up to 60. Four dots, the 11mg rung, does not exist in this flavour at all, which makes the step from 8mg to 14mg a genuinely large one. Almost double, in fact. VELO renamed most of its range in January 2024, replacing evocative names with descriptive ones and putting the dot gauge on the can in place of printed words like Medium and X-Strong. The old name is unusually persistent with this one. Purple Grape is one of the flavours VELO makes in both formats, so the format question is live here in a way it is not for most of the range. What we pack is the slim.
