Edge nicotine pouches, sometimes searched for as Edge snus, are tobacco-free pouches made in the UK by EDGE of Stockport. We list Mint, Spearmint, Mango, Strawberry and Watermelon, from 3mg Light to 16mg Ultra Strong, with the lid's five tingle dots decoded below. Packs of 5, mix and match, next day delivery. 18+ only.
Edge Nicotine Pouches and Edge Snus, Explained
Edge nicotine pouches are slim, tobacco-free pouches made in the UK by EDGE, the Stockport company behind EDGE e-liquids, and launched in May 2025. Every can holds 20 pouches and shows one of five strengths, from 3mg Light to 16mg Ultra Strong, with a five-dot "tingle" row on the lid.
Some people search for Edge snus, and we use the phrase because they do. It is not really snus. Snus is ground tobacco, banned from sale in the UK since 1992; an Edge pouch holds plant fibre, water, flavourings, sweetener and nicotine, with no tobacco anywhere in it. Our guide to snus vs nicotine pouches sets out the difference.
What makes Edge nicotine pouches unusual is the passport. Most pouch brands on British shelves are made in Sweden, central Europe or further afield. Edge prints "UK Manufactured" on every lid, and the company says it makes them itself, near Manchester.

Edge Strengths: Light to Ultra Strong, and the Tingle Dots
Edge has five strengths, each with a name and a number of dots on the lid: Light 3mg is one dot, Medium 6mg two, Strong 9mg three, Extra Strong 12mg four and Ultra Strong 16mg all five. Edge recommends 6mg Medium as the starting point for most first-timers.
The dots are the clearest guide Edge gives you, and they work the way you would hope: one more dot, one step stronger. The brand calls them a tingle rating, because the tingle on the gum is how most people notice nicotine from a pouch. Its own guide uses slightly different names for the same five steps (Low, Mild, Medium, Strong and Intense), which is worth knowing if you read about Edge elsewhere.
| Lid says | Tingle dots | Figure on the can | Here in |
|---|---|---|---|
| Light | 1 of 5 | 3 MG | Spearmint, Strawberry, Watermelon |

| Extra Strong | 4 of 5 | 12 MG | Mint, Spearmint, Strawberry, Watermelon |
| Ultra Strong | 5 of 5 | 16 MG | Mint |

Find your Edge strength: Light to Ultra Strong
Answer two quick questions, or tap a rung to see its word, its tingle dots and which flavours come in it.
1. What do you use now?
Pick one to get a starting rung. Every Edge lid shows a strength word, a five-dot tingle row and the figure in mg. Edge has not said whether that figure is per pouch or per gram, so the dots are the safest way to compare Edge cans.

20 slim pouches a can. The lid prints MG; Edge's own guide writes mg/g and gives no pouch weight, so treat the figure as a label and compare with the dots.
Where 6mg sits, as printed
Rival ranges are per pouch; Edge is plotted at the figure its can prints, 3 to 16mg.

Are Edge Strengths Per Pouch or Per Gram?
Edge has not made this clear. The can and the shop listing print "6 MG" and so on, while Edge's own tingle guide writes the same figures as milligrams per gram, and the brand publishes no pouch weight to convert one into the other. Until it does, compare Edge cans with each other using the dots.
This matters more than it sounds. If the figures are per pouch, a 12mg Edge sits alongside a four-dot VELO. If they are per gram, the dose in each slim pouch would be lower than the printed figure, and without a published pouch weight nobody outside the company can say by how much. We show the figure exactly as the can prints it and do not convert it, because inventing a per-pouch number would be worse than admitting the gap. If Edge clarifies, this page will change the same day.
The Edge Range We Stock
We list five Edge flavours: two mints and three fruits. Spearmint, Strawberry and Watermelon run from 3mg to 12mg, Mint from 6mg to the 16mg Ultra Strong, and Mango comes at 6mg and 9mg.
| Flavour | Strengths | Cooling | In a sentence |
|---|---|---|---|
| Edge Mint | 6, 9, 12, 16mg | Yes | Crisp, clean mint and the only Edge at Ultra Strong |
| Edge Spearmint | 3, 6, 9, 12mg | Gentle | Sweeter and smoother, and the only Edge mint at 3mg |
| Edge Watermelon | 3, 6, 9, 12mg | No | Juicy melon, refreshing without any ice |
| Edge Strawberry | 3, 6, 9, 12mg | No | Sweet strawberry, no twist and no chill |
| Edge Mango | 6, 9mg | No | Ripe mango, sweet with a tangy edge |
Stock moves quickly with a brand this new: the grid and the finder below show what is available today, and a struck-through strength is waiting on the supplier. Edge has also added Mixed Berry Ice, Blueberry Raspberry Ice and Blackcurrant Mint since launch; we do not carry those yet. The mints also sit on our mint nicotine pouches shelf and the fruits on fruit nicotine pouches.

Showing 5 of 5. Strengths are shown exactly as the can prints them (Light 3, Medium 6, Strong 9, Extra Strong 12, Ultra Strong 16, with one to five tingle dots). Edge's own guide writes these as mg/g, so per pouch vs per gram is unconfirmed. Struck-through strengths are waiting on the supplier.
What Is Inside an Edge Pouch?
Plant fibre, water, glycerol, flavourings, xylitol as the sweetener, and nicotine, plus a few food-grade ingredients that set the texture and acidity. There is no tobacco leaf, so the pouch stays white in use. The fruit pouches list no menthol or cooling agent at all, which is unusual in a market where most fruit pouches come iced whether you asked or not. The texture is soft and moderately moist: comfortable from the first minute, without the dry, papery feel of some slim pouches.
The Edge Can
Every Edge tin is 70mm wide and 23mm tall, holds 20 slim pouches, and comes sealed around the rim so you know it has not been opened. The lid has a compartment for used pouches, which is more useful than it sounds on a train or at a desk. The front of the lid carries the flavour, the EDGE logo, "UK Manufactured", "20 Slim Nicotine Pouches" and the strength pill: word, dots and figure. Colour tells you the flavour at a glance, and the dots tell you the strength without reading anything, which is exactly how a lid should work.
Do Edge Fruit Pouches Have a Cooling Effect?
No. Edge Mango, Strawberry and Watermelon list no menthol, mint or cooling agent in their ingredients, so they taste of fruit rather than of fruit with ice. Only the two mints bring any chill, Mint more than Spearmint.
That makes Edge a useful brand for people who dislike the freezer-burn finish on most fruit pouches. It also changes how the strengths feel. Menthol and nicotine both register on the gum as intensity, so a 9mg Mint will feel sharper than a 9mg Strawberry even if the nicotine is the same. If you are used to iced fruit vapes, expect the Edge fruits to feel softer, and let the dots, not the sensation, guide your strength.
Which Edge Should You Buy?
Start where Edge itself suggests, at 6mg Medium, or at 3mg Light if you have never used a pouch. Regular pouch users usually sit at 9mg or 12mg; the 16mg Ultra Strong Mint is for heavy daily users only.
- New to pouches, already using nicotine: 3mg Spearmint, Strawberry or Watermelon, then 6mg. Our low strength nicotine pouches have more options at this level if the Edge 3mg cans are waiting on stock.
- Coming from a vape: 6mg Medium in a fruit you already like. Edge makes the point that e-liquid strength is no guide to pouch strength, and it is right.
- Former smoker or daily user: 9mg Strong, moving to 12mg Extra Strong if it feels light after a week.
- Heavy daily user: 16mg Ultra Strong Mint, sparingly.
Not sure between fruit and mint? Order a pack of each at the same strength. Packs of five keep that experiment small, and every Edge can counts towards the same price tier.
If a strength you want is waiting on stock, resist the temptation to jump a dot higher just because it is available. Two dots apart on the Edge scale is a real difference on the gum. Pick the same strength in another flavour instead, or come back when the grid shows it again; a lighter can from our low-strength shelf is also a perfectly good stopgap while you wait for your usual Edge to return.
Why Did an E-Liquid Company Make Nicotine Pouches?
EDGE's customers were already asking. Plenty of vapers now use pouches alongside or instead of a device, for flights, offices, football grounds and anywhere else vapour is unwelcome. Making pouches in the same house as the e-liquid lets the brand carry over flavours its customers know, and a sensible caution: Edge points out that your e-liquid strength is no guide to your pouch strength, because nicotine reaches you more slowly and steadily from a pouch than from a puff. For a vaper moving across, that advice is worth more than any flavour. Start at 6mg, give it a few days, and step up a dot only if you want more.
Who Makes Edge Nicotine Pouches?
Edge pouches are made by NextGEN360 Ltd, which trades as EDGE from Stockport in Greater Manchester, the same company that makes EDGE e-liquids and vape pods. It announced its pouches in May 2025 after an in-house project it called Project Pouch, and prints "UK Manufactured" on every can.
The company has been registered since 2012 and built its reputation on e-liquid long before pouches. Moving into pouches with its own production line rather than a white-label can from overseas is the notable part: few pouch brands sold here can say they are made in Britain at all. The brand's own product pages describe the pouches as made at its headquarters near Manchester, and the lid backs that up.
Edge Pouches So Far: A Short Timeline
Edge's pouch story is still short, which is worth knowing when you read older reviews. The range launched in May 2025 with the five flavours we stock: Mint, Spearmint, Mango, Strawberry and Watermelon, each at up to four strengths, and Mint alone at 16mg. In October 2025 the brand added three iced or mint-edged flavours at the lighter end: Mixed Berry Ice, Blueberry Raspberry Ice and Blackcurrant Mint, at 3mg, 6mg and 9mg. Anything you read from before the autumn of 2025 will describe a five-flavour brand. We will add the newer flavours here if and when we can supply them reliably.
Edge Nicotine Pouches Review: Our Honest Take
Edge is a promising, straightforward pouch: clean flavours, a clear five-dot scale, a genuinely low 3mg option and UK production. Its weaknesses are youth and labelling: a small range, patchy availability and the unanswered per-pouch versus per-gram question.
We have no customer reviews for Edge yet, so this is our assessment rather than a rating. The mints are well made, with Mint the sharper and Spearmint the easier of the two. The fruits are the more interesting half of the range precisely because they skip the ice; Strawberry in particular tastes rounder than most strawberry pouches. The slim pouch sits comfortably and holds its flavour for a good session. Where Edge still feels like a first-generation product is in the paperwork: publish a pouch weight and most of our caveats on this page disappear.
One more genuine strength: the 3mg Light. Very few brands on our shelves go that low, and fewer still in fruit flavours without menthol. For someone who wants a gentle, uncomplicated first pouch, a 3mg Strawberry or Watermelon is one of the kindest starting points we sell, when the supplier has it.
Edge vs UBBS, SYX, VELO and ZYN
Edge offers the lowest starting strength of the brands below apart from ZYN, and is the only one made in the UK. UBBS and SYX go stronger; VELO and ZYN print a clear per-pouch figure, which Edge does not yet confirm.
| Brand | Range here | Made in | Can shows |
|---|---|---|---|
| Edge | 3 to 16mg, as printed | UK | Word, five dots, mg |
| UBBS | 4 to 20mg per pouch | Designed in Sweden | Word and dots |
| SYX | 6 to 20mg per pouch | Czech Republic | mg and word |
| VELO | 6 to 17mg per pouch | Europe | mg and dots |
| ZYN | 1.5 to 13.5mg per pouch | Europe and US | mg and dots |
How Edge Packs and Prices Work
Edge comes in packs of 5 cans of one flavour and strength, and every Edge can in your basket counts towards the price per can. One pack is £2.99 a can; from 40 cans the rate falls to £2.70, about 14p a pouch.
| Cans | Per can | Per pouch | Basket |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 (1 pack) | £2.99 | 15p | £14.95 |
| 10+ (2 packs) | £2.89 | 14p | £28.90 |
| 20+ (4 packs) | £2.79 | 14p | £55.80 |
| 40+ (8 packs) | £2.70 | 14p | £108.00 |

Edge Downsides, and Who It Is Not For
Edge is not for anyone who needs a confirmed per-pouch dose, not for people after a wide flavour choice, and its 12mg and 16mg cans are for regular users only. As a new brand, its stock also comes and goes.
- Unconfirmed units. The can says mg; Edge's guide says mg per gram; no pouch weight. Compare with the dots.
- A small range. Five flavours here, eight in total from the brand.
- Patchy availability. Several strengths are waiting on the supplier at any one time, especially the fruit cans.
- Mango stops at 9mg, and only Mint reaches 16mg.
- No iced fruit. A plus for some people, a surprise for anyone expecting a frosty watermelon.
How to Use an Edge Pouch
Break the seal, place a pouch under your top lip and leave it for anything from five to 45 minutes, as Edge suggests. The lid has a compartment for used pouches until you reach a bin; the pouches go in general waste.
The tingle starts within a minute or two and is the nicotine being released; it is gentle on the one-dot cans and very clear on four and five. If you feel dizzy or queasy, take the pouch out and drop a dot next time. For the basics in more detail, see our guide to using nicotine pouches, and for every tobacco-free pouch UK shoppers search for as snus, the snus collection.
Are Edge Nicotine Pouches Legal in the UK?
Yes. Edge contains no tobacco, so it is legal to buy and use in the UK if you are 18 or over, unlike tobacco snus. From 29 October 2026 the Tobacco and Vapes Act 2026 makes selling nicotine products to under-18s a criminal offence.
We check ages at checkout and sell to adults only. Nicotine pouches are not e-liquid, so the vaping products duty does not apply to them, even though Edge's maker also sells vape liquids. Nicotine is addictive; Edge is not for non-users, anyone under 18, or anyone pregnant or breastfeeding.
