Iceberg Snus and Iceberg Nicotine Pouches, Explained

Iceberg nicotine pouches are slim, all-white, tobacco-free pouches made for a Warsaw company, twenty to a can, sold in the UK at two strengths: Medium at 20mg/g and Extreme at 50mg/g. Iceberg snus is simply what most people call them. One pouch sits under your top lip for twenty to forty minutes, and nothing is lit, inhaled or spat.

Iceberg made its name on two things. A flavour list that reads like a pick-and-mix counter (Gummy Bear, Cherry Apricot Gum, a Cola, something called Arasaka) and a reputation for strength that it earned, for a while, with cans marked 150. The 150 is gone, and we explain why further down. What remains is a range that runs from genuinely strong to the strongest thing we sell, with a low-polygon bear roaring on every lid.

Strictly, none of it is snus. Snus is a Swedish tobacco product, banned from sale in the UK since 1992, whereas Iceberg contains no tobacco leaf at all, which is exactly what lets it sit legally on a British shelf. One thing to clear up before anything else. Iceberg also sells caffeine pouches under the same bear, in cans marked 75 MG and 150 MG, and they contain no nicotine whatsoever. Our Iceberg Energy is a nicotine pouch that happens to taste of an energy drink. The caffeine cans are a different product, and we do not stock them. The caffeine pouches we do sell are Denssi Energy, and those say caffeine on the lid.

Iceberg Snus Strength: Medium, Extreme, Ultra and the mg/g Trap

The number on an Iceberg can is milligrams of nicotine per gram of pouch material, not per pouch. Medium is 20mg/g, roughly 12 to 14mg in your lip. Extreme is 50mg/g, roughly 30 to 35mg. Ultra, which we do not stock, is 70mg/g. Iceberg never prints the per-pouch dose, so the word on the lid is the thing to read.

Why a range rather than a number? Iceberg does not publish its pouch weight. Shops that have put one on the scales report 0.6g to 0.7g, so 50mg/g lands somewhere between 30mg and 35mg. Even the low end is stronger than any VELO, ZYN or Nordic Spirit can we sell, all of which stop at 17mg and print that figure per pouch, honestly, on the front. When one retailer tells you Extreme is 30mg and another says 35mg, they are describing the same can with a different set of scales.

The words matter more than the dots. So a search for Iceberg Cool Mint Medium means the 20mg/g can, which our listings label 20mg, and Iceberg Grape Gum Extreme means the 50mg/g can, labelled 50mg here. The current lids also carry a five-dot row under the range word, two filled for Medium and all five for Extreme. Our own product pages use a different, site-wide dot scale (three for a 20mg/g Iceberg, five for a 50mg/g) so you can compare an Iceberg with a VELO at a glance. The two systems agree at the top and disagree in the middle, which is why we would rather you read the milligrams.

Ultra deserves a sentence, because people search for it. It is a real Iceberg tier at 70mg/g, sold by a handful of UK sites at what they quote as 56mg a pouch on a heavier 0.8g pouch. We do not stock it, and after a week on Extreme very few people wish we did.

Does Iceberg Still Make 150mg?

No. Iceberg withdrew its 75, 100, 110 and 150mg/g cans, and the retailers that stocked them now list Black and Emerald as Extreme 50mg/g instead. One or two UK sites are still selling through old 150 stock. We are not, and would not.

The 150 was printed per gram as well, so on its 0.8g pouch the real dose was nearer 120mg than 150, which is still four times an Extreme and roughly nine VELO Ice Cools in one lip. Trading Standards began seizing "150mg" pouches across the country in 2024 and 2025, mostly over labelling rather than strength, and the brand quietly dropped the tier rather than argue. If you are searching for Iceberg 150 or Iceberg Black 150mg today, the honest answer is that it no longer exists as a current product, and that Iceberg Black here is a Medium can, one of the gentler things in the range, not the strongest.

Extreme still deserves respect. Thirty-odd milligrams is more nicotine than most smokers absorb from two cigarettes, and it arrives faster. First can, twenty minutes, sitting down. If Extreme reads as a warm-up, the answer is not a bigger number; it is a rethink.

Who Makes Iceberg? Poland, Russia and the Bear

Iceberg's maker of record is Iceberg Tobacco Sp. z o.o., a Polish company registered in Warsaw in April 2023, which describes itself as the manufacturer and puts its factory in Poland. Several UK shops credit a company called Neoptolem instead. Trade records show Neoptolem as a Russian firm that supplies Iceberg Tobacco, not as a Polish factory.

The "started life in Russia" line you will read elsewhere is retailer lore, plausible but unpublished by the brand, which offers no history at all on either of its websites. What we can say with a straight face: the company is on the Polish register at ul. Grzybowska 87 in Warsaw, its cans are labelled for the EU and UK, and its UK site listed stockists as "coming soon" in September 2026. That is why Iceberg lives on specialist sites like this one and not in a supermarket, and why the range you can actually buy changes month to month.

The pouch itself is a plain slim white with a plant-fibre filler, nicotine, flavourings and sweeteners, described by some reviewers as dry and by others as semi-moist, which probably says more about the reviewer than the pouch. Twenty to a can, with a lid compartment for used ones.

How to Use an Iceberg Pouch

Tuck one pouch between your upper lip and gum, leave it for twenty to forty minutes without chewing, then bin it. A sharp tingle in the first minute is the nicotine at work, not a fault, and on Extreme it is a proper sting.

Twist the lid, take one pouch and park it slightly off-centre. Take it out whenever the flavour fades or the head goes light; there is no prize for lasting the full forty minutes, and with Extreme the first one is better at twenty. What Iceberg Costs Here: Packs of 10

Iceberg comes in packs of 10 cans of one flavour and strength at £39.90, which is £3.99 a can and about 20p a pouch. Two packs in the basket bring every can to £3.50, three packs to £3.33, and four or more to £2.99, and every 10-can pack of any brand counts towards those tiers.

Who Iceberg Suits, and When to Buy Something Else

Iceberg snus suits people who want a wild flavour list at a strength with real weight behind it. Skip it here if you want a single can, if you have never used nicotine, or if the flavour you are after is waiting on the supplier.

• No single cans. We sell Iceberg only in packs of 10 cans of one flavour, so trying Arasaka means owning ten of them. Our VELO and Nordic Spirit ranges do come as single cans, if you want to test a flavour first.
• Supply is patchy. Iceberg reaches us through a UK wholesaler rather than the brand, and availability comes and goes by flavour and by strength. A struck-through strength in the finder means we cannot get it today, and the button on its page will say Back Soon or Coming Soon. We would rather say so than take an order we cannot fill.
• Extreme is genuinely strong. Thirty to thirty-five milligrams a pouch is double a strong Nordic Spirit. If your last can was a 6mg VELO, Medium is already a step up.
• The label needs decoding. A 50 on the lid is not 50 in your lip, and Black is a flavour, not the strongest can. Both are explained above so you do not learn them the hard way.
• No reviews here yet. Nobody has reviewed an Iceberg can with us so far, and we are not going to invent any.

Iceberg Snus vs Pablo, Killa and Cuba

Per pouch, Iceberg snus at Extreme strength, 30 to 35mg, is the strongest can on this site, a shade ahead of Pablo Exclusive at about 30mg and far ahead of Killa at about 13mg. On flavour count nothing comes close to Iceberg's forty. On reliability of supply, Pablo and Killa win, because we hold those on the shelf.

Pablo snus is the sensible comparison: the same mg/g labelling habit, a similar top strength, and a Silver Edition at 10mg for people who want the badge without the punch, which Iceberg has no answer to. Killa prints 16.5mg/g on a heavier pouch and lands around 13mg, so an Iceberg Medium is the closer match than the name suggests. Cuba gets searched alongside Iceberg constantly, and the two are easy to confuse: both Polish, both Warsaw-registered, both fond of a cartoon on the lid. They are different companies, Cuba being made by Nicotobacco, and Cuba's Black line runs stronger still. Iceberg and UK Law in 2026

Iceberg nicotine pouches are legal to buy and use in the UK if you are 18 or over, and there is no legal cap on strength. Under the Tobacco and Vapes Act 2026, selling nicotine pouches to anyone under 18 becomes a criminal offence from 29 October 2026, and an advertising ban follows on 1 June 2027. The Vaping Products Duty that starts on 1 October 2026 covers e-liquid, not pouches.

The Trading Standards seizures you may have read about involved pouches with foreign-language or missing warnings, not a strength limit, and none of the published cases named Iceberg. Buy from a shop that says where its stock comes from (ours comes through a UK wholesaler, in UK-labelled cans), check the batch number on the base, and be suspicious of anything still advertising 150.
