What Is Pablo Snus?

Coming from cigarettes, a strong vape, or another brand's 8–11mg pouches: the Silver Edition. Here is the detail most shops leave out: Pablo and Killa come out of the same Danish factory. N.G.P. Killa's standard line lands at about 13mg a pouch (the 16 on its cans is per gram), so the fair one-line summary is that Killa is the strong pouch and Pablo is the very strong one from the same kitchen.

Iceberg is the outsider, a Dubai brand whose range runs from 20 mg/g to 50 mg/g with a much wider flavour list and a slightly drier pouch. Its top end matches Exclusive on paper and feels a touch slower in practice.

Is Pablo Snus Legal in the UK?

Yes. Pablo snus is a nicotine pouch, not tobacco snus, so it falls outside the ban on traditional snus, and there is no legal cap on pouch strength in the UK. The British Standards Institution publishes a voluntary 20mg-per-pouch guideline (PAS 8877), which is why a few large retailers choose not to stock Exclusive at all; it is a policy, not a law, and a 50 mg/g can is legal to sell here.

What is changing: the Tobacco and Vapes Act 2026 received Royal Assent in April, and from 29 October 2026 selling nicotine pouches to anyone under 18 becomes a criminal offence rather than voluntary good practice (we already verify age on every order, so nothing changes here). A government consultation on packaging, flavour names and in-store display closes on 2 October 2026; it does not cover nicotine limits, and anything adopted would take at least a year to come in. How to Spot a Fake

Strong brands attract forgers and Pablo snus is one of the most counterfeited pouch brands in Europe, which matters more here than with most products: at 30mg you really do want the dose on the label to be the dose in the pouch. Trading Standards seizures of illicit pouches more than doubled in the year to early 2025, and the Exclusive flavours most often faked are Blue Raspberry, Frosted Mint and Grape Ice.

What genuine Pablo nicotine pouches look like. From 2026, N.G.P. cans carry a QR code on the back that verifies only at track.ngptobacco.dk (the code allows five scans, so a well-handled retail can may already show one or two). Older stock without a code can still be genuine. Beyond that: a crisp batch code and best-before date on the base, English-language warnings, sharp print, a tactile warning strip, and pouches whose back seal has serrated, textured edges rather than a smooth straight cut.
