Killa - Watermelon Extra Strong | 10 Cans Product Description
Killa Watermelon Extra Strong: Watermelon, Not Melon
Killa Watermelon Extra Strong is a sweet, light watermelon pouch that tastes like the sweets rather than the fruit, carrying 13.2mg of nicotine per pouch in 20 slim portions. It is the easiest Killa fruit can to keep returning to across a day, and it has one of the mildest burns in the range.
It is also the can people land on when they meant something else. Killa sells three melon-ish flavours and this is only one of them, so before anything else, the important bit.
If You Searched for Killa Melon, You Want a Different Can
Killa Melon is honeydew. It is a separate product with a softer, greener, distinctly less sugary flavour carrying a light cooling edge this can does not have, and it is not a milder version of this one. If you typed "killa melon" and arrived here, the Melon can is over here and it is what you were looking for.
The confusion is not your fault. Almost nobody writing about this brand acknowledges that Killa Melon exists at all: the major UK flavour round-ups cover Watermelon and stop there, and even the review sites that do individual Killa flavours skip the distinction entirely. The two cans taste properly different and both are worth having for different reasons.
The Three Melon Cans Side by Side
| Can | Line | The fruit | Sweetness | Pick it if |
| Watermelon | Original | Watermelon, sweet-shop style | Medium, light on the palate | You want one clean fruit you can use all day |
| Melon | Original | Honeydew, green and soft, lightly cooled | Lower, more subtle | Watermelon flavours taste too sugary to you |
| Exclusive Strawberry Watermelon | Exclusive | Watermelon blended with strawberry | High, and it stays high | You want a proper summer sweet-shop flavour |
All three are 13.2mg per pouch, so nothing here is a strength decision. It is purely which fruit you actually want. The rest of the range sits in Killa Original and Killa Exclusive.
What Killa Watermelon Tastes Like
Watermelon sweets, essentially, and the reviewers who rate this can highest tend to describe it exactly that way: it smells like the pink chews you had as a child and it tastes like them too. Clean, sweet, immediately recognisable, with no chemical aftertaste and nothing complicated going on.
A few reviewers report a faint mint or cooling edge developing over the session, described as a mellow freshness rather than menthol. It is subtle, it is not on every account, and it is nothing like the cooling in a proper Ice can. Treat it as a background note that some people notice and others do not.
The burn is mild, which is unusual at this strength and is the main reason this can gets recommended to people stepping across from the mints. Nicotine arrives quickly, within the first minute, and the flavour runs about twenty five to forty minutes. It is a very moist pouch, so there is drip, though the plant-fibre filling keeps it from staining.
Why "Watermelon" Never Tastes Like Watermelon
Worth a short explanation, because it applies to every watermelon pouch and vape on the market. Real watermelon is mostly water and its flavour is delicate to the point of being almost absent once you concentrate it. Nobody can build a pouch around that, so what gets made instead is the confectionery version: the sweet, slightly floral, faintly candy-ish profile that watermelon sweets established decades ago and that everybody now recognises as watermelon.
This can is a good example of that done well, which is a different achievement from tasting like the actual fruit. If you want something closer to real melon, the honeydew in the Melon can gets nearer, because honeydew has a flavour strong enough to survive being concentrated.
Reading the 16.5mg on the Can
The dropdown shows 16.5mg, which is measured per gram of filling rather than per pouch. Pouches here weigh 0.8g, so the dose is 13.2mg of nicotine per pouch.
| Figure | Value | What it describes |
| Per gram | 16.5mg/g | Concentration, as printed on the can |
| Per pouch | 13.2mg | The dose in one portion |
| Pouch weight | 0.8g | What links the two |
Extra Strong is the name of Killa's Original line rather than a tier above the Exclusive cans; both hold the same 13.2mg. Worth adding that there is no dry watermelon on our shelves: the separate Killa Dry line is not stocked here, and the only dry-format can we carry is Killa Exclusive Cold Dry, which is a mint. The Killa hub covers the numbers across the whole range.
Watermelon at Other Strengths
13.2mg is a lot for a flavour this approachable, and plenty of people want the taste without the hit. Gentler watermelon cans on our shelves:
| Can | Brand | Why pick it |
| Velo Watermelon Ice | Velo | Low strengths, plus a genuine cooling finish |
| 77 Watermelon Ice | 77 | Medium strength, the natural step down |
| Clew Watermelon | Clew | Several strengths, so you set the intensity |
Going the other way, there is no plain watermelon in the Pablo range, but Pablo Exclusive Watermelon Lemon pairs it with citrus at a far heavier dose if you have outgrown this strength. Our Pablo strength guide maps that ladder.
Where to Go After Watermelon
This can is where a lot of people start with the brand, so it is worth saying where it leads. Each of these keeps the approachable character while changing one thing.
| Next can | What changes |
| Mango Ice | Same easy sweetness, but with a real cooling finish added. The most popular fruit can we sell. |
| Grape Ice | Darker and sweeter, cooled the same way, and it lasts longer than most. |
| Cola | Leaves fruit behind entirely for cola-bottle sweets, with a faint fizz. |
| Melon | Less sugar, greener, more grown-up. The obvious move if this one is too sweet. |

Running the Session
Eat first. The mild burn on this can is exactly what makes it easy to underestimate: nothing about the experience signals that you are holding roughly double a supermarket pouch until the nicotine has already arrived.
Place it flat under the upper lip and leave it. Fifteen minutes is a sensible first session. Because it is a wet pouch, keep a drink nearby. Our guide to how many pouches a day is sensible covers pacing, and what snus actually is explains why a pouch everyone calls snus contains no tobacco at all.
Who Should Skip It
Anyone who actually wanted honeydew. That is the Melon can, and this is not a substitute for it.
Anyone new to nicotine pouches. The gentle flavour and mild burn disguise a strong pouch, which makes this a worse first experience than an obviously harsh one, not a better one.
Anyone who wants cooling. There is at most a faint suggestion of it here and nothing reliable.
Anyone who finds sweet-shop flavours childish. This is unashamedly the sweets rather than the fruit.
Fakes, Storage and the Practical Bits
Check that the lid print is crisp rather than soft at the edges, that the batch code is stamped into the can rather than stickered on, and that the catch lid closes flush. NGP publishes its own listings at killapods.eu for comparison.
Keep the can shut and out of sunlight, and refrigerate it if it lasts more than a fortnight. This is one of the wetter cans in the range, so it dries out noticeably once opened and a dried watermelon pouch loses most of what makes it pleasant. Cans are sold in packs of ten, which is 200 pouches, and the per-can price steps down as you add packs: £3.50 a can at two packs, £3.33 at three and £2.99 at four. The single-pack rate is on the listing above.
The Verdict
The most easy-going can Killa makes. Sweet without being heavy, mild in the mouth, and simple enough that you can have several across a day without getting tired of it, which is not true of the richer fruit cans. If somebody wants to try Killa but is put off by the reputation for lip burn, this is the one to hand them.
Two caveats. It is still 13.2mg, so easy-going refers to the flavour and not the dose. And if you came here looking for melon, you want the other can.
