Product Description

Fumi Fiery Lime: Citrus That Bites Back

Fumi Fiery Lime is one of three flavours in the Fiery range, the Swedish brand's first sub-line built around a single idea rather than a fruit: heat. Sharp, peel-forward lime arrives first, then a chilli warmth creeps in behind it and stays for the session. The pouches are slim, all-white and completely tobacco-free, in 8mg Strong or 15mg Ultra Strong, with 20 pouches in every can. At NicotineBuzz that is 10 cans for £27.90, which is £2.79 a can, dropping to £2.49 a can on 20 and £2.29 on 40 or more, mixed across any Fumi flavours, against the £3.99 to £4.49 singles trade everywhere else.

Fumi Fiery Lime 8mg Strong nicotine pouches can, green tin with the HOT flame mark

Lime has spent years as a supporting actor in nicotine pouches. It is the sharp edge on a cola flavour, the cooling partner in a tropical mix, the thing that stops a sweet pouch cloying. Almost nobody builds a can around it. Fumi has, and then done the one thing you would least expect: warmed it up. What comes out is far closer to the chilli-salt-lime trio you get on a Mexican street corner than to any energy-drink citrus, and it is the most distinctive of the three Fiery flavours for exactly that reason.

What Does Fumi Fiery Lime Taste Like?

Proper lime, and specifically lime peel rather than lime cordial. The opening two or three minutes are bright and slightly bitter at the edges, the way a wedge squeezed over food tastes rather than the rounded sweetness of limeade. Fumi's moist-cut pouches get it moving fast, so the citrus is fully present inside the first minute.

Then the chilli arrives, and it arrives more assertively here than in any other Fumi. Citric acidity and capsaicin warmth amplify each other, which is precisely why the combination is a street-food classic and precisely why this can reads hotter than Fiery Mango despite the two using a comparable seasoning. From about minute four there is a genuine tingle along the gum line, building to a plateau and then holding steady rather than climbing further.

The finish is the best part. As the lime's sharpness rounds off, the warmth is left carrying the flavour on its own, and what remains is a dry, faintly savoury citrus note that is far more interesting than a sweet fruit pouch has any right to be. Expect 30 to 45 minutes of it. If you have ever wondered why tequila comes with salt and a lime wedge, this can answers the question in pouch form.

How Hot Is "Fiery", Exactly?

Calibration matters when a flavour puts chilli in its name, so here is the same honest scale we apply to Fiery Mango. Nought is a plain fruit pouch. Ten is raw scotch-bonnet foolishness that no pouch maker attempts, because the mouth is not the place for heroics. Fiery Lime sits around a three and a half, the hottest of the three new cans, because the acidity sharpens the perception of the chilli rather than softening it.

For context, Fiery Mango sits at a two, Fiery Peach at a two and a half, and Velo Cinnamon Flame plays in the four-to-five zone with its bakery-heat cinnamon. The closest direct rival is Velo Lime Flame, which pairs the same two ideas at 8mg but leads with a sweeter, more confected lime; Fumi's is drier and more citrus-peel. Nothing we stock goes meaningfully hotter than the Velo cinnamon.

8mg or 15mg? Fumi Takes a Fruit Flavour to the Top of the Ladder

This is the genuinely new part, and it is easy to miss. Until July 2026 Fumi's 15mg Ultra Strong tier belonged to exactly two cans, Freezy Mint and Spearmint. If you wanted the brand's top strength you took mint, full stop. The Fiery range breaks that for the first time: all three new flavours ship in 8mg and 15mg, which triples the number of Ultra Strong Fumi cans in one go, and makes Fiery Lime one of the first non-mint Fumi cans ever sold at that strength in the UK.

Fumi Fiery Lime 8mg Strong and 15mg Ultra Strong cans compared, showing the strength squares printed on each tin

Two rulers are in play on this page, as always with Fumi. The tin prints the brand's own gauge, three filled squares of six for the 8mg and five of six for the 15mg. The dots beside the strength selector above use our cross-brand scale instead, which has to stretch all the way to 50mg Pablo cans, so the same pouch reads Medium and High respectively. Neither is lying; they answer different questions. The milligrams on the tin are the number that matters.

A word of advice about the 15mg specifically. Heat and nicotine both register as intensity, and they stack. An experienced user stepping from an 8mg fruit pouch to a 15mg Fiery one is changing two variables at once and will usually describe the result as harsher than the numbers deserve. Buy the 8mg first, learn what the chilli does, then decide whether you want it louder. Behind both numbers the house chemistry is identical: citric acid balanced against sodium carbonate so the nicotine crosses the gum quickly, and a stabiliser that flattens the release into one even line rather than a front-loaded burst.

The all-white construction matters beyond looks. White pouches will not stain your teeth the way traditional snus can, and the slim cut sits flat under the lip without the tell-tale bulge. The flame and the word HOT printed on the tin are Fumi's own warning label, not ours, and they are worth taking at face value on this particular can.

How to Use Fumi Fiery Lime Pouches

Take one pouch and set it under your upper lip, flat against the gum and slightly off-centre. The first minute or two brings a tingle; with a Fiery pouch that tingle and the chilli warmth arrive together, which is a lot of sensation at once if you have never used a warm flavour before. It settles quickly.

Leave it in for 20 to 45 minutes. The flavour usually fades before the nicotine does, so let your own taste call time rather than the clock. When you are finished, the lid of every Fumi can has a catch compartment for used pouches, which saves you hunting for a bin and saves everyone else finding one in a pint glass.

One pouch at a time is plenty, particularly at 15mg. Swallowing your saliva is fine, swallowing the pouch is not. If this is your first nicotine pouch of any kind, start on our low strength shelf instead and come back to the Fiery range once you have your bearings.

Fumi Fiery Lime vs the Other Lime Pouches We Stock

Lime is a small shelf in the UK, which is half the reason this can is worth your attention. Here is the whole field we carry:

PouchStrengthCharacter
Fumi Fiery Lime8mg / 15mgDry lime peel with real chilli warmth. The only one at 15mg
Velo Lime Flame8mgThe direct rival: sweeter, more confected lime, softer heat
Velo Tangy Lime6mgStraight tangy lime, no heat, gentlest of the group
XQS Cola Lime8mgLime as the sharp edge on a cola base
Iceberg Guava Lime50mgTropical guava lead at extreme strength. Not a starting point
Clew Citrus5mg to 20mgBroader citrus blend across the widest strength ladder here

The short version: if you want lime with heat, the only real debate is Fumi against Velo Lime Flame, and it comes down to whether you prefer your lime sweet or dry. Velo is the friendlier introduction. Fumi is the one that tastes like an actual lime. And if you want the flavour at a strength Velo does not offer, Fumi is the only 15mg lime pouch on the UK market that we are aware of.

Where Fiery Lime Sits in the Fumi Range

Fumi built its name on flavours nobody else attempts, from Salty Violet to Prickly Pear, so a chilli-warmed lime is entirely in character. Within the brand it now anchors the warm wing alongside Dark Spice and Fiery Mango, the deliberate opposites of the frost side led by Freezy Mint.

Of the three new Fiery cans this is the one to buy if you already know you like warm flavours. Fiery Peach is the gentler, sweeter introduction and Fiery Mint is the strange one that runs hot and cold at the same time. Lime is the purist's pick. The full line-up is on our Fumi collection page, with the rest of the sharp stuff on the citrus and spicy and herbal shelves.

Fumi itself launched in 2021, built by Kaj and Dennis, two Swedes the industry calls the Snus Brothers, and manufactures at Helix Sweden AB in Ödeshög. The whole pitch is unusual flavours executed with Swedish pouch chemistry: pH-balanced for faster uptake, stabilised for an even release rather than one front-loaded burst. Their official range sits on the Fumi website if you fancy comparing notes.

Is Fumi Fiery Lime Any Good? Our Verdict

It is the most interesting pouch Fumi has released this year, and also the least forgiving. The lime is genuinely well made, dry and peel-bright where almost every rival reaches for sugar, and the chilli is not a gimmick bolted on for the name; it changes how the citrus behaves across the whole session. Nothing else in our catalogue tastes like it.

The caveat is that it demands a bit of tolerance. The heat is real enough that a first-timer will notice it, and the acidity means it feels sharper against the gum than the mango does. It is also the flavour most likely to divide a room, which is a compliment for a brand that has never once played it safe. Judge it on the second can, not the first ten minutes.

Who should skip it: anyone who reads "chilli" as a dare rather than a seasoning and expects real burn, anyone who wants a 4mg starting point, since the Fiery range has none, and anyone whose pouch life is happily all frost. Mint traditionalists, the minty shelf is that way, and the full Fumi range has fourteen calmer options.

Price: What Ten Cans of Fumi Fiery Lime Should Cost

Singles of the Fiery range sell for £3.99 to £4.49 at the UK pouch specialists, so ten cans bought one at a time runs to roughly £39.90 to £44.90. Our pack lands the same ten cans for £27.90, which is £2.79 each. Take two packs of any Fumi flavours and every can drops to £2.49; four packs or more and it falls to £2.29 a can, a shade under 12p a pouch. None of the page-one stockists we checked offers a 40-can rate at all, and you can mix strengths and flavours freely across the pack without the price moving.

Fiery Lime is brand new, so you will also find it in our new in collection alongside the rest of the Fiery range. The honest caveat to close on: nicotine is addictive whatever flavour it arrives in, and pouches are for adults who already use nicotine, not a habit worth starting. If stopping altogether is the goal, the NHS Better Health service is free and rather good at it.
