Product Description

Pablo Silver Cold Mint: The Famous Pablo Freeze at a Liveable Strength

Pablo Silver Cold Mint exists because of something everyone in the pouch world already knows: Pablo nicotine pouches built their name on being famously, almost theatrically strong. For years the brand sold one experience, roughly 30mg of nicotine per pouch, and you either handled it or you gave it a wide berth. Cold Mint rewrites the terms. It keeps the crisp, icy mint identity Pablo is known for and delivers it at 10mg per pouch (14.5mg/g), in slim, all-white, completely tobacco-free pouches, 20 to a can. At NicotineBuzz the pack is 10 cans for £34.99, which is £3.50 a can, falling to £2.75 a can once multibuy pricing kicks in.

Official Pablo Silver Edition Cold Mint 10mg nicotine pouches poster

New for 2026, the Silver Edition line was announced in late March and reached UK shelves from 30 March. It is produced in Denmark by NGP Tobacco, the same factory behind Killa, and runs nine flavours deep: six fruits, three mints, every can at one identical strength. Cold Mint's job within that nine is specific. It is the coldest and most intense of the three Silver mints, and the closest living relative of Pablo Ice Cold, the can that made the brand's reputation.

From 30mg to 10mg: The Step-Down Story

A little history explains the name. Pablo launched as a one-strength brand, and that strength was extreme: around 30mg per pouch, or 50mg per gram, in cans like Ice Cold and X Ice Cold. The 2025 Gold Edition, at 17mg per pouch, was the first concession to people who wanted the flavours without the full force. Silver finishes the journey. At 10mg per pouch it is the lightest can Pablo has ever produced.

Lightest, note, not light. Northerner still files 10mg pouches under Extra Strong, and the busiest part of the mainstream UK shelf, the everyday cans from Velo, ZYN and Nordic Spirit, runs from about 6mg to 11mg per pouch. Silver therefore sits at the ceiling of the mainstream market and the floor of Pablo's own. That dual position is precisely what makes Cold Mint useful. An Ice Cold user stepping down lands on familiar flavour at a third of the nicotine; a mainstream user stepping sideways gets genuine Pablo character without jumping straight to the strongest pouches sold in Britain.

Who is Silver for, then? Pablo pitches it at all-day use and flavour-first sessions: people at a desk long enough that a 30mg can becomes impractical, and experienced enough that very low strengths no longer register. It also suits anyone running a deliberate step-down plan, which is why we shelve it alongside the stronger cans rather than instead of them. It is not a beginner product, and we will not pretend otherwise.

Now the small print, because pouch labelling trips people up constantly. Nicotine content can be quoted per pouch or per gram, and retailers mix the two without warning. Each Silver pouch weighs 0.7g at a density of 14.5mg per gram; multiply those and you get 10.15mg in every pouch. Ice Cold runs 50mg per gram, which lands around 30mg per pouch. If you ever spot the Silver line listed with a different figure, check which measure is being used before assuming the product changed.

The strength dots printed beside the 10mg label on this page follow our house scale, which grades every brand we stock against the same yardstick. On that scale 10mg lands mid-range, so Cold Mint reads as Medium here even though Pablo would call it their gentlest work. Both descriptions are true. One measures against the whole market, the other against a back catalogue of heavyweights.

For a can-by-can tour of the whole family, from Silver up to the 50mg-per-gram monsters, our Pablo strength guide lays the full ladder out.

The Taste: Crisp Mint, Then the Deep Freeze

First contact is clean, sharp mint, closer to toothpaste-fresh than sweet. Give it two or three minutes. The cold arrives as a second wave, a pronounced icy layer that builds steadily and then simply stays, parked somewhere behind your front teeth. This is the classic Pablo chill, intense, refreshing and slightly bracing, and it is exactly what made Ice Cold a cult object; the difference is that here it arrives without a 30mg surge stacked on top.

The middle of a session holds steady rather than evolving. Cold Mint is not a layered flavour and never pretends to be. It picks one note, plays it loudly and sustains it, which is either the point or the problem depending on what you want from a pouch. Count on 20 to 45 minutes of proper freshness, with the frost outlasting the mint itself by a fair margin.

Texture matters too. Silver pouches carry a balanced moisture level, a touch drier than Pablo's Gold and Exclusive lines, which translates to a slightly softer start and a tidy pouch that stays where you put it. Against its Silver siblings the contrast is easy to draw: Peppermint is sharp but not frosty, Spearmint is soft and faintly sweet, and Cold Mint is the one that turned up wearing a parka.

Cold Mint Against the Icy Mint Shelf

Frost-forward mint is a crowded corner of the shop, which is healthy: it keeps everyone honest. Here is where this can sits among the icy pouches we stock, with each rival's strength checked against our own listings.

PouchStrengthCharacter
Pablo Silver Cold Mint10mg per pouchIce Cold's crisp bite at a third of the nicotine
Pablo Ice Cold30mgThe original heavyweight; frost plus a very serious hit
Denssi Cold Mint8mg or 16mgA straight cold mint with options either side of Silver
Clew Cool Mint5mg to 20mgFour strengths; the most flexible icy mint here
Fumi Freezy Mint4mg, 11mg or 15mgMoist Swedish pouch; smoother, quicker frost
ZYN Cool Mint X Strong1.5mg to 11mgDrier pouch, more restrained cooling
Cuba Ninja Mint Fresh30mgAnother extreme can, for the Ice Cold crowd

Read the strength column and Cold Mint looks mid-table. Read the character column and its position makes more sense: below roughly 16mg, this is the purest expression of the frost idea we shelve. Users who want a strength dial should look at Clew or Fumi, which offer four and three settings respectively. Users who want frost and force together still have the two 30mg cans. Cold Mint's offer is narrower and cleaner: the coldest flavour in the Silver range at one deliberate, manageable strength.

One deliberate quirk deserves flagging. There is no strength dropdown on this page because no alternative exists; every flavour in the Silver line ships at 10mg per pouch, full stop. Pablo has always favoured conviction over choice, and Silver keeps that habit even while softening the numbers.

Pouch Technique, Briefly

Tuck one pouch under your upper lip, flat against the gum, and then leave it be. A tingle across the first couple of minutes is normal, slightly keener here because of the cooling, and it settles into a steady background hum within five. No spitting is needed at any point, and swallowing your saliva is completely fine.

Sessions run 20 to 45 minutes; let the flavour call time. One pouch at a time is plenty at this strength, and the used pouch goes in a bin rather than anywhere more creative. If you are trying to work out a sensible daily rhythm, our guide on how many nicotine pouches per day gives honest ranges rather than one-size answers.

One of Nine: Cold Mint in the Silver Line-Up

Nine flavours make up the Silver Edition: six fruits and three mints. On the mint wing, Cold Mint holds the cold extreme, Peppermint takes the sharp classic middle and Spearmint covers the soft, sweet end. If you lean fruity but still want the chill, Grape Ice and Blueberry Peach Ice both borrow this can's frosty finish and hang fruit off it.

Every Pablo we stock, Silver included, lives on the Pablo nicotine pouches collection. The broader cold-and-fresh crowd, all brands welcome, gathers in our minty flavour collection.

You can weigh all nine options side by side over on the Pablo Silver Edition page.

The Honest Assessment

What Cold Mint gets right is focus. It takes the most recognisable flavour identity in strong pouches and hands it to people who have no appetite for 30mg, without the flavour feeling watered down in the process. The frost is properly cold rather than vaguely cool, the slim pouch sits discreetly, and the 10mg dose suits long sessions in a way the original cans never could.

What it lacks is range. A single strength means no easing in and no pushing on, and the flavour is deliberately narrow: mint, frost, end of list. Anyone who wants a flavour with chapters should be over in the fruit Silvers.

Three groups should skip it altogether. Newcomers to nicotine pouches, because 10mg per pouch is a proper dose and a gentler shelf is the wiser first stop. Anyone who finds icy mint abrasive, for whom Spearmint is the obvious Silver instead. And settled Ice Cold devotees with no interest in cutting down, who will find this can pleasant, competent and about a third as exciting as their usual.

Price, Packs and the Multibuy Ladder

Singles of the Silver range go for £3.19 to £3.87 a can at UK pouch retailers right now. Our pack of 10 works out at a flat £3.50 per can, so on a single pack we sit mid-table, no pretending otherwise. The multibuy changes the sums entirely: two packs drop to £32.50 each, three to £30.00, and four or more to £27.50 apiece, which is £2.75 a can, under the lowest single-can price we have seen for this line anywhere.

Because Silver is a spring 2026 launch you will also find it among the recent arrivals in our new in collection. One closing point that belongs in plain text rather than small print: nicotine is addictive at every strength, including this one, and pouches are for existing adult nicotine users, not a habit worth acquiring. If quitting nicotine entirely is the goal, the free NHS Better Health quit smoking service exists for exactly that.
